Credits
There are three ways that an educator can earn credit during this event:
MONTANA OPI Professional Development Units
These are provided through the state’s OPI system. Conference attendees can earn up to 16 PDUs:
At the beginning of EACH conference day, you must SIGN IN on your session’s printed “MT OPI PDU Participant Sign-in Sheet” to confirm your attendance.
After the conference, you will be emailed your Certificate to fill in with your specific info and submit to the state to record your credit.
*NOTE: Non-Montana educators may be able to earn similar credit in their licensure state(s) by submitting this certificate to their respective educational agency.

The Credit Recording Fee is $155, payable to the University of Montana, either by check or by credit card using the registration form.
Return your completed registration form with payment to Kersch/Brightways Learning before the end of the conference.
There will be a brief, follow up course assessment that will be sent to you by email for you to complete by July 15.
From UM staff, students will be emailed registration confirmations/receipts and given their UM student ID numbers. Also included in the email are instructions on accessing grades and unofficial transcripts on UM’s CyberBear, plus how to order official transcripts. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the transferability of courses to their degree-granting institution and intended major.
UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA ANCHORAGE (UAA) - 1 graduate-level credit
Please do this immediately, so we can help you address any registration issues while on-site together and that may take a day or more to resolve.
