Resilient Educators: Back to the Future! - Anchorage, AK

  • Crowne Plaza Hotel Anchorage 109 West International Airport Road Anchorage, AK, 99518 United States (map)

Recharge from school year stress & fuel up with
fresh resiliency strategies!

Educators and students alike have suffered trauma & stress that affects them emotionally, behaviorally, physically, and cognitively. This highly engaging PD experience will boost your knowledge & skills to ensure resiliency for yourself, your colleagues, and your students.

Our PD is like no other you've experienced - we integrate brain-based research to model and teach what will help you the most, including play with purpose, engaging self-regulation techniques, and fresh perspectives on relationship-building. You'll understand the why (science) behind the what (strategies), leaving you well-equipped for the future!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? School counselors, teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals. Everyone from your district, school, and community is welcome. Bring a team!

Unpack… How are you feeling about Fall 2022?

Has the Pandemic been weighing you down? It’s vital to your health and to those around you that you get support to unpack and sort through all that heaviness. Let’s do it together! We’ll look back to plan forward and rejuvenate for the year ahead!

Are some recent experiences with students & colleagues not making sense?

For instance, are they communicating differently than typical or maybe older students have reverted to childhood games? Why are these things happening? Restore balance with neuroscience!

Are the roads you are following taking you in circles?

What will help you navigate from where you are to where you want to be? How can you do more with less? Let’s re-discover the pathways that led us to love teaching - and add new routes that bring us joy!

You will leave with:

• Jumpstarting your love of teaching so you move forward with a clear vision for the future
• Connection with others who are are experiencing similar situations
• Understanding neuroscience to help make sense of what’s happening with your students & colleagues
• Strategies and activities to use in your classroom and with your colleagues
• …And have FUN doing it!
