Stronger Together: Activating Student Support Systems in the Connected Classroom
Facilitated by Lisa “Kersch” Kerscher, Brightways Learning Program Coordinator
How do we move well-being from a "separate initiative" to the heart of our daily instruction? In this interactive session, participants will explore a research-based framework designed to help students self-activate their personal support system and amplify their unique strengths.
We will move beyond theory to provide a practical, whole-student "lens" that integrates seamlessly into any core content area or rural setting. You will leave with a new perspective and understanding to help students grow relational skills and engage more in learning, all while mitigating risk behaviors. We’ll practice reframing everyday interactions to cultivate a culture of prevention and opportunity, ensuring that every student has the resilience to flourish.
