Reclaiming the Heart of Teaching: Leveraging AI to Build Stronger Student Connections (VIRTUAL)
Facilitated by David Pavish, Brightways Learning Resiliency Specialist
In an era of 'one more thing,' how do we find the space to actually see and connect with our students? This session moves beyond AI as a novelty and reimagines it as a vital tool for teacher resiliency and student belonging. When students feel seen and valued, they are more engaged in learning. We will examine the research on AI-driven time-savings, which suggests educators can reclaim up to five hours a week, and ask the critical question: What will you do with that time?
By automating the 'administrative heavy lifting' of tasks like differentiation and lesson prep, you can reclaim valuable time and increase cognitive and emotional capacity to truly connect with students. You will leave with a personal roadmap to automate your most time-consuming tasks and a heart-centered approach to reinvesting those minutes back into your students.
