Increase Academic Success Through Positive Relationships with Students

This session explores the foundational role that relationships play in student achievement and classroom climate. Educators will learn how to strengthen their positive influence by building trust, reducing power struggles, and communicating high expectations with care. Strategies such as closing the power gap and promoting psychological safety help create an environment where students feel respected, supported, and motivated to engage. These relational practices are particularly effective in improving behavior, increasing cooperation, and supporting learners across different grade levels and developmental needs.
